"The time has come," the Walrus said,
"To talk of many things:
Of shoes--and ships--and sealing-wax--
Of cabbages--and kings--
And why the sea is boiling hot--
And whether pigs have wings."
(The Walrus and the Carpenter, Lewis Carroll)
Some of you may have noticed a distinct lack of blogging over the past six months, and for that I am not going to apologise.
See, thing is, this blog was originally set up to share stories of my WAGGGS trip to the UN, and then evolved into a space to talk about depression, mental health, physical health, and all sorts of other fun and games.
Over the past three years, my blog has been a great way to straighten out all of the fluff and knots in my head, and to tell the world how I feel at a time when I didn't really know what that meant. Writing about it has helped me get the words out when I couldn't explain how I was, let alone why.
Since I started this blog, I've learned to understand my emotions and how I feel, and why I feel that way. I know not everything is going to be straightforward, and that I may well fall again, but I also know I can deal with it. I don't want to feel like my mental health is my defining feature any more. It is just a part of who I am. I don't need this blog to tell me that.
So, for now it's goodbye from 'a little bit Rosy', but it's not goodbye from me. This blog has helped me discover a genuine enjoyment of writing, so I couldn't let go that easily. Instead, I'm moving to a new blog, here, where you can read all about two of my favourite things - food and travel - in the 'Travels of an Intolerant Vegetarian' - see you soon!
Rosy x
